One of the talking piece of this house is the stunning island with a double slab marble countertop.
This concrete finish adds a modern touch to the house and merge beautifully with the rustic wood beams, floor and the preexisting elements the home owner wanted to keep in full respect of the house's history.

It is a type of material that looks aesthetically pleasing with all sorts of different types of materials & textures such as marble Staintless steel and wood floor in this case.
Each door is made to required size and no door is ever exactly the same due to how concrete is applied to the front of the doors.
These pictures shows the fully integrated Sub Zero 30" fridge and 24" freezer disappearing in the design.
The design by Michel Clair included a large seatting area while maximizing storage and integrating large appliances such as a 48" Wolf Range with a very modern Falmec hood.
